Educational Qualification

You need a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) from a university established by law and recognised by the Veterinary Council of India, or an equivalent government-recognised veterinary qualification.

Registration required: you must be duly registered with the Uttarakhand Veterinary Council. The date for determining your qualification will be based on your Marksheet Issuing Date or Result Declaration Date.

Preferential qualification (if applicable): a postgraduate degree/diploma in Veterinary Science (e.g. M.V.Sc in Surgery, Gynecology, Medicine, Pathology, Public Health), OR at least 2 years of Territorial Army service, OR an NCC ‘B’/’C’ certificate.

Selection Process

Selection is based purely on an Objective Type (Multiple Choice) written examination — there’s no interview stage for this recruitment:
