Educational Qualification

Salary / Pay Scale

Pay is governed by the industry-level bipartite settlement/Joint Note applicable to bank officers, with allowances and benefits as per the Bank’s policies.

Probation & Service Bond: selected candidates serve a 12-month probation. A Service Bond requires a minimum 3-year service commitment — candidates leaving before that must pay the Bank an amount equal to 3 months’ gross salary (capped at ₹2 lakhs for JMG/S-I, ₹3 lakhs for MMG/S-II).

Selection Process

Selection may involve multiple stages at the Bank’s discretion:

  1. Application Scrutiny — your application is checked against the eligibility criteria.
  2. Online Test / Psychometric Test — conducted if the Bank decides it’s needed for any or all positions (tentative structure detailed in Exam Pattern below).
  3. Group Discussion and/or Interview(s) — one or multiple rounds, to assess personality, communication, problem-solving, and suitability.
Meeting minimum eligibility does not automatically entitle a candidate to an interview call — shortlisting criteria are internal to the Bank and not shared with candidates. The Bank reserves the right to change, add, or waive any part of this process at its discretion.

Sections 1, 2, and 3 are qualifying in nature — their marks aren’t counted toward the merit list. There’s a penalty of 0.25 marks per wrong answer in all sections.
